Customer Account Hub
Ayra Customer Account Hub is a set of native tabs for Shopify's new customer accounts that shows a customer's wallet, points, wishlist, subscriptions, review requests, referral link and orders in one place. It is built with customer account UI extensions, so it needs no theme edits.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Native tabs on Shopify's new customer accounts. Each Ayra module appears as a tab inside the account customers already log in to. There is nothing to add to your theme.
- Wallet and points. Customers see one balance across points, store credit and vouchers, with history and expiry dates.
- Wishlist. Saved items with stock and price state, so customers can act on them from their account.
- Subscriptions management. Skip, swap, pause and update payment details without contacting support.
- Review requests. Open review requests appear in the account, so customers can review when they are ready.
- Referral links. The customer's referral link and code, with share buttons and a view of rewards earned.
- Order history with reorder. Past orders with one-tap reorder, using Shopify's native order data.
How it connects to other modules
Section titled “How it connects to other modules”Every module reads and writes the same customer profile, so these connections need no integration work.
- Loyalty & Rewards: The wallet balance shown here is the same balance loyalty issues and checkout redeems.
- Segmentation: Tier badges come from segments on the profile, so what a customer sees matches how Ayra treats them.
- Subscriptions: Subscription controls act on Shopify subscription contracts, so changes made here are the source of truth.
Built on Shopify
Section titled “Built on Shopify”Shopify primitives used: Customer account UI extensions, New customer accounts, Metaobjects. Nothing is injected into the theme.
No single app. Customer Account Hub replaces the account-page widgets of your separate loyalty, wishlist, subscription and review apps.
How it works day to day
Section titled “How it works day to day”The account hub is a set of tabs inside Shopify’s new customer accounts, built as customer account UI extensions rather than a separate portal. Each tab reads the same customer profile the rest of Ayra uses, so a point earned, a referral that clears or a review that publishes appears in the hub at once with no sync. Shoppers sign in with Shopify’s one-time code; there is no Ayra login.
What the tabs show:
- Wallet: the Smart Wallet balance (points, store credit, vouchers, one number), recent earn and spend lines, and expiry warnings.
- Orders: Shopify’s order history, with Ayra’s reorder and review prompts attached where relevant.
- Referrals: the customer’s link and code, invites sent, pending and granted rewards.
- Reviews, Wishlist, Subscriptions: appear only when those modules are on.
The hub requires new customer accounts. Stores on classic accounts keep loyalty and referrals working (balances still apply at checkout) but cannot show the tabs until they switch; see Install & connect.
Set up in brief
Section titled “Set up in brief”- Confirm new customer accounts are on in Shopify settings.
- Turn the module on and choose tabs in Account Hub → Tabs.
- Open the account page as a test customer and confirm each tab renders.
- Optionally add a “wallet summary” theme block to the header or cart so the balance is visible before sign-in.
The tab list and what each renders is documented for developers on Customer account extensions.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Setup: turn the module on and configure it.
- Storefront & account blocks: what shoppers see and where it goes.
- Settings reference: every setting, in one table.
