Loyalty & Rewards: Setup
Setting up Loyalty & Rewards happens in the Ayra admin under Loyalty → Setup: turn the module on, set its rules, add its blocks to the theme and account hub, then verify on the storefront. The steps below are the skeleton of the guide; the detail lands with the module (private beta).
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need Ayra installed and connected (see Install & connect) and a theme that supports theme app blocks (Online Store 2.0).
Turn on the module
Section titled “Turn on the module”Modules are off until you enable them, so nothing changes on the storefront by accident. Enabling Loyalty starts collecting its signals on the customer profile immediately.
Configure the rules
Section titled “Configure the rules”The rules for Loyalty are listed in the Settings reference. Start with the defaults and change one rule at a time.
Add the storefront and account blocks
Section titled “Add the storefront and account blocks”Blocks are added from the Shopify theme editor and the customer account hub; see Storefront & account blocks.
Verify on the storefront
Section titled “Verify on the storefront”Use a test customer, trigger one Loyalty event, and check that it appears on the customer’s timeline in Ayra with a reason.
